APRIL MEETING: Friday, April 12, 2024 at 7:00 pm. Effective with this April meeting, due to lack of participation, the 7:00pm - 7:30 pm Conformation practice has been cancelled. The Board Meeting will start at 7:00 PM followed by the General meeting.

A Message to the Membership:
Hello GSDCGNH Members,

Is there anyone who attends our Conformation Shows that is currently certified in CPR/First Aid? We are still in need of a certified CPR/First Aid person that attends the conformation shows.

AKC requires an Emergency and Disaster Plan to be in place at every AKC event held. They suggest, not require, that a CPR/First Aid person be on the grounds during show hours.

April Seminar - All working spots have been filled on the second day of registration. Jim approved the additional 3 working spots that came in on the third day of registration. There are still audit spots available. See our website for the registration form. Registration closes 4/4.

June 1 and 2 Scent Work Trial - Entries opened March 20th. We have a maximum of 400 runs each day. Detective has a maximum of 30 runs each day. 20 to 25 volunteers are needed for each day. Please sign up with Stefanie Mount mrsm903@verizon.net. She will be coordinating all the volunteers. There will be a volunteer briefing prior to the start of the trial each day. Scent Work knowledge is not necessary to volunteer, just your willingness to help your club! The Premium List is on our website.

June 30 - GSDCA Temperament Test, AKC CGC/ CGCA and AKC Trick Dog - Novice level PLUS our Annual Picnic. All are welcome!
Hot dogs, hamburgers, soda and water provided by the club. All salads and desserts will be provided by donations. Please contact Karla Trombetta ktrombetto@hotmail.com with your food contribution.

July 21 Obedience and Rally Trial held at Tails U Win in Manchester, CT. Volunteers are needed. Discussion to be held concerning the NEW REQUIRED jumps which all clubs must have by July 1, 2025 in order to continue holding obedience and rally trials. See AKC site for full information. Entries will open May 1. Check the website for the Premium List.
