A futurity/maturity is when breeders nominate their litters to the parent club futurity/maturity system, and then showcase their promising puppies. It is run like a specialty show but there are no points to win towards championships. Classes are named - junior dog/bitches (youngest), teenage, intermediate and senior. Winners and runners up in each region are invited to attend the national. You pay entry fees. You win ribbons and the winner gets a plaque.
The GSDCGNH is hosting the Northeast Futurity/Maturity on 6/9/2 along with two specialty shows on 6/8/24. We are seeking donations. We’ve waited 4 years to host this event. Your donation, no matter how large or small would be greatly appreciated. Donate for the catalog (picture of your German shepherd), for trophies or just for good luck to all exhibitors. We get 100% of ad income and 60/40 for trophies.
