Our NEXT General Club meeting will be on FRIDAY, FEB 19TH, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Oxford Training facility. Directions. MEETING DATES ARE NOW POSTED ON OUR MEETINGS PAGE. WE WILL NOW HOLD GENERAL MEETINGS ON THE THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH INSTEAD OF THE SECOND FRIDAY.

Members Only section is NOW ACTIVE - All paid members have been emailed their user name and password (1/17/2010). Let me know that you have been able to access the area, email me @ joanMtuthill@comcast.net.
The Currant By-Laws are available from that section and many other pages.
Please do not give your username or password out to anyone else as that will corrupt the security of that section.

SPECIAL REMINDER to our members:
Mark your calanders for June 12, 2010. The GSDC of GNH will support the entry at the Greenwich Kennel Club All Breed show. The judge will be Edletraud Laurin. We will get more particulars as we receive them. The club will offer a "trophies" for the BOB and BOS. We expect to get a big ring for the day if we have a large entry. It is likely that our breed will go on in the afternoon so we can have the larger ring.

Club Objectives:

(a) To encourage and promote the QUALITY breeding of pure-bred German Shepherd Dogs and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

(b) To urge members and breeders to accept the Standard of the Breed as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only Standard of excellence by which German Shepherd Dogs shall be judged.

(c) To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the Breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials and performance events.

(d) To conduct sanctioned matches, licensed specialty shows, obedience trials, performance events and any other event for which the club is eligible under the Rules and Regulations of the American Kennel Club.
